Navigate to Brightspace and find the assignment for which you want to view your grades. Click the assignment link.
This will open the Vocareum page as usual. Three buttons should be visible near the top right of the screen: “Submission report”, “Grading report”, and “Grades”.
The “Submission report” button should already be familiar to you - it will include the information from when you last submitted the assignment.
The “Grading report” button is similar - like the submission report, it also includes test cases. The tests may not be exactly the same as the ones that were run at submission time.
Scroll to the bottom of the pane to view the grade and the feedback that was generated by the auto-grader.
Note
This is a preliminary grade that is automatically generated. Your actual score (shown in the next steps) may be higher or lower.
Clicking the “Grades” button will open the official grade as determined by your lab instructor. Feedback is located at the bottom under the heading “Comment”.
This grade will be sent to Brightspace once all lab instructors have finished grading this assignment.
Warning
For lab programming assignments, this grade is cross-checked with your lab attendance. If you were considered “late” or “absent”, and did not receive an override from your lab instructor, then you will instead receive a score of zero in Brightspace.
Note
After you receive the email indicating that your grade is ready to view in Vocareum, you have 5 days to initiate a re-grade.
