Gustavo Camilo

I’m a second-year Computer Science Ph.D. student at Purdue University under the guidance of Prof. Aniket Kate and Prof. Kazem Taram. Previously, I graduated M.Sc. from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro co-supervised by Prof. Luís Henrique M. K. Costa and Prof. Miguel Elias M. Campista. I was also advised by Prof. Otto Carlos M. B. Duarte (in memoriam) for four years during my undergraduate studies also at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, from which I received my B.Sc. with honors (cum laude) in Electronics and Computer Engineering in November of 2021. My research interests are mainly based on computer networks security, focusing on blockchain, payment channel networks, and federated learning.
