Translational updates to Chapter 17, "Farewell, My Lindgren",
in Dissections: Plane & Fancy, by Greg N. Frederickson:

After publishing my book Ernest Irving Freese's Geometric Transformations: the Man, the Manuscript, the Magnificent Dissections, I realized that a number of dissections in this chapter are translational. I would clearly be remiss if I did not finally identify those dissections, since this property is indeed noteworthy. Thus I shall revisit Harry Lindgren's dissection of two dodecagons to one in Figure 17.4, my dissection of two {12/2}s to one in Figure 17.5, my dissection of two {12/3}s to one in Figure 17.6, and my dissection of two {12/4}s to one in Figure 17.7 !

Lindgren's dissection of two dodecagons to one is translational

My Dissection of two {12/2}s to one is translational

My Dissection of two {12/3}s to one is translational

My Dissection of two {12/4}s to one is translational
