Before this book even appeared, Gavin Theobald extended the results in Table M4.1. He found a 14-piece dissection of a {22} to a square and a 15-piece dissection of a {26} to a square. Well done, Gavin!
As I prepared the manuscript for my next book, Ernest Irving Freese's Geometric Transformations, I apparently pushed Gavin once more into action, so that some entries in Table M4.1 are now out of date. In particular, Gavin has now found wonderful 13-piece dissections of {19} to a square, {20} to a square, {22} to a square, and {24} to a square. And in the case that we allow turning over pieces, then Gavin has a 12-piece dissection of {20} to a square. Beautiful!
