  • Run commands on remote machine

  • Just like being “directly connected”

  • Example 1...

      hostA % rlogin hostB -l loginid

      hostB % who [who is on hostB?]
      hostB % ^D
      hostA % [back on hostA]

  • Example 2...

      hostA % rlogin ssinfo.purdue.edu -l ssinfo
