Kihong Park gave a presentation on quality of service as well as other material on the Purdue MSI project. January 15, 2000[Positions filled.] We are currently hiring for two MSI-related positions. One position is essentially an addition to the CS facilities staff that will include specific responsibilities for supporting the equipment associated with the MSI project. Further information is available at look for posting number 22494. The other position has not yet been posted, but will include responsibilities both on the MSI project and a related project to be announced shortly. This position is research-oriented and intended primarily for a person with a Ph.D. November 24, 1999Update of the MSI home page is currently underway. The MSI project has an opening for a technical support staff person. Responsibilities including specifying, installing, and maintaining a variety of project equipment, including computer hardware (Intel PC and Sun SPARC), network routers, and video equipment. The hiring paperwork is still working its way through the University system, but should reach the job postings within the next two weeks. |
