Dr. Kevin C. Kahn

Dr. Kevin C. Kahn is an Intel Senior Fellow in the Corporate Technology Group and Director, Communications Technology Lab. The Communications and Interconnect Technology, Intel Labs, develop physical layer technologies for communications systems and system interconnects using RF, copper, and optical media. Dr. Kahn also coordinates Intel's participation in various relevant standards bodies and consortia.
Since his first position with Intel as a Senior Software Engineer in 1976, Dr. Kahn has held a number of senior management positions in Intel's software and systems divisions. He has been issued nine patents and has numerous others pending.
Dr. Kahn received his Ph.D. and master's degrees in Computer Science from Purdue University in 1976 and 1973, and his bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Manhattan College in 1972. The Purdue University School of Science awarded him with its Distinguished Alumni Award in 1995. He joined Intel immediately after completing his Ph.D.
