Purdue CS Bridge Program

The Computer Science Department is committed to your success. With that in mind, we have established the Bridge Program in both West Lafayette and Indianapolis to help students with a high potential for our coursework, but with little or no programming experience.

Build a Bridge

The Bridge Program introduces students to basic computer science and programming concepts at a comfortable pace in a fun and informal environment. The goal is to help you succeed in your first CS class (CS 18000) by introducing you to the subject matter, the professor, as well as student TA's, without the pressure of worrying about a grade. There are no grades in the Bridge Program!

During the two-week program, you will live on campus and develop a network of peers (and friendships) vital to your academic success. Registration fees include boarding in the residence halls, all meals, coursework and evening/weekend activities during the two weeks of Bridge.

Apply to Bridge

Applications for the Bridge Program are closed. Contact csbridge@purdue.edu for more information.

The program will run in both West Lafayette and Indianapolis from Sunday, August 3rd, 2025 to Friday, August 15th, 2025. The application deadline is Friday, June 27th, 2025.
