Leadership in research and education
"When I interviewed at Purdue CS, I was particularly intrigued by the research culture and the passion of the faculty and students here. This helped me decide that I wanted to be one of them and start my career here. In my first year, with the continuous support for undergraduate research in the CS department, I helped four undergraduate students publish their work in a top-tier human computer interaction (HCI) conference. I felt extremely excited at their success since it demonstrated that undergraduate students can also do great research.
Additionally, I feel very proud for and also humbled by the great accomplishments made by those in the Purdue community. These accomplishments are a testament to the dedication and hard work of its faculty, students, and staff. It is a source of inspiration and motivation for the current and future generations of students and scholars, including myself, who seek to make a difference in the world."
