The Trustees of Purdue University will receive sealed bids for the following projects until 300 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, the 14th day of September 2004 in the Parking Facilities Office, Visitor Information Center, 504 Northwestern Avenue, West Lafayette, IN 47906.
- West Lafayette Campus - Computer Sciences Building Phase I - 2004
- West Lafayette Campus - Lynn Hall Lab Renovations Rooms G188,. G188A & G192 - 2004
- West Lafayette Campus - Switchgear for Northwest Main Substation (Foundation) - 2004
Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in the Conference Room of the Visitor Information Center, 504 Northwestern Avenue, West Lafayette, IN 47907. Bids received after such time will be returned unopened. Bids may be withdrawn prior to such time, but no bids shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days thereafter. The Principal Subcontractor Questionnaire listing the names of the bidder's principal subcontractors shall be submitted with the bid. The remainder of the Questionnaires and Material Lists shall be submitted prior to 300 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, the 21st day of September 2004, to:

Bids shall be for complete construction only, properly executed and submitted on From 96, accompanied by executed Rom 96A (as prescribed by the State Board of Accounts) giving financial data as recent as possible, and a Non-Collusion Affidavit together with other documents as required by the Instructions to Bidders and addressed to The Trustees of Purdue University, clearly marked with the project and the bid opening date.
Each bid must be accompanied by a Contractor's Combination Bid Bond and Bond for Construction in the form included in the specifications made payable to The Trustees of Purdue University in an amount equal to the maximum total of the base bid and any alternate bids, guaranteeing the execution and faithful performance of the contract for the work if awarded.
Wage rates shall be not less than the common construction wage as determined pursuant to IC 5-16-7-1 et seq., as amended.
The Instructions to Bidders contained in the specifications are by this reference made a part hereof, and all bidders shall be deemed advised of the provisions thereof, and of the General Conditions of the contract, specifications, plans and drawings for each project.
A Voluntary Pre-Bid Meeting for the Purdue University Computer Sciences Building Phase I - 2004 project is scheduled for Wednesday, September 1, 2004 from 800 to 930 a.m. (local time) in Conference Room 1-2 of Freehafer Hall. Freehafer Hall is located at 401 South Grant Street, West Lafayette, Indiana. The architectural/engineering firms for the projects are:
