Experts Discuss Transactional Memory at Purdue

05-06-2010

Transactional memory allows a group of load and store instructions to appear to be executed atomically. On April 30, 2010, outstanding researchers from both industry and academia gathered at Purdue for the 2010 Transactional Memory Workshop (TMW), where they presented their work and discussed future trends and research directions for transactional memory.

Presentations from the workshop are available via streaming video. TMW'10 was sponsored by the National Science Foundation.
