Atallah co-founded Arxan Technologies in 2001 and has served on its board of scientific advisers since then. Finally, in his "Last Word: The Importance of Innovation", Purdue University President Mitch Daniels notes, "I’ve met Computer Science undergraduates starting their careers without waiting for graduation, building software companies and successful, mass-marketed iPhone apps before they are old enough to go to Harry’s Chocolate Shop." He references Stoppelman's October 2012 visit, "Perhaps he inspired other Computer Science students to find success through bold, innovative means as well."
