Opportunity Knocks for CS at Purdue Day of Giving

CS students, faculty and staff are invited to attend an array of festivities to celebrate the second Purdue Day of Giving, the university’s annual 24-hour, online fundraising event, on Wednesday (April 29).
The Day will begin with a free breakfast and coffee event that will kick off the event in the Lawson Commons from 8—10 a.m.
After that, students can try to catch the roaming golf cart, which will be driven by the College of Science Development Team From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. who will be passing out prizes and goodies to random visitors. From 1:30-2p.m. the cart will be conveniently parked between the Haas and Math buildings.
The University Development Office and Purdue Athletics will host Boiler Bash from 4-8 p.m. at Ross-Ade Stadium that will include free zip-line rides, games, and music.
Hourly online challenges will be offered throughout the day. Friends of CS can visit the department’s Facebook page (Purdue Computer Science) and Twitter feed (PurdueCS) for updates throughout the day.
