Dr. Jermaine Williams Jr. is a higher education researcher and student affairs practitioner whose work is grounded in empowering student development across diverse social, spatial, and institutional contexts. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Student Affairs in Indianapolis, he leads initiatives that promote student success, engagement, and holistic development. Drawing on his interdisciplinary background, Dr. Williams facilitates high-impact student experiences, including the development and leadership of residential learning communities and curricular experiences for first-year students. As a native of the eastside of Indianapolis, he is proud to serve students at Purdue University in Indianapolis, where he collaborates with campus and community partners to cultivate pathways that support computer science students’ academic achievement and professional growth.
