Multiple Deadlines

The following guide will show the basic steps of establishing different deadlines per user group and display only one grade item. This method can be expanded to encompass various possibilities (dynamic assignments based on groups, creating staggered deadlines, mass exemptions, etc.).

 

Creating duplicate Assignments for each section or deadline:

• Set the appropriate Release Conditions of each assignment for the specific audience.

• Hide the Grade Items of individual assignments.

• Create a Formula Grade Item and write a formula to sum the individual assignments.
