Any student in the Department of Computer Science can benefit from the Computer Science Undergraduate Student Board (USB). Always available to help computer science and data science students; the USB hosts a panel during CS191, runs a free help room for introduction CS courses, and maintains a tutor list for those who need help. Lauren Lum, President of the USB states, "We know underclassmen and the incoming freshmen may need resources they might have not needed in previous years. As an organization, we are looking for ways to connect with the undergraduate student body and provide services they will need during this unique semester."
Every semester the USB hosts an undergraduate town hall to discuss ways to improve the community and student experience. The USB is committed to helping the CS and DS students be successful with fun events like Bloomberg’s Puzzle Challenge to professional opportunities like the Yelp Mock Interviews.
