I wanted to share a fully funded program that may be a good fit for Purdue CS undergraduates and MS students who are interested in research and pre-doctoral preparation.

The Cornell, Maryland, Max Planck Pre-doctoral Research School in Computer Science (CMMRS 2026) is a one-week research school hosted at the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems (MPI-SWS). It is aimed at undergraduates and MS students interested in research, and is fully funded (travel, accommodation, and meals). Participants get exposure to emerging areas in computer science through lectures and interaction with researchers.
