Interested in Entrepreneurship? Courses to Consider

  1. Burton D Morgan Venture Competition: Easy to join and fun to experience! 10 weeks, 6 workshops, a hands-on guided way for them to learn in practice how to go from 0-to-1 for a new venture concept. $100K in Prizes.
  2. Venture X: For those who want to take building a venture a little more seriously. 2 courses (3+3 credits). Fall --> Design and validate a venture concept. Spring --> get a $5K expense budget to build product, validate business model, get pilots, sell to customers. Everyone builds a product that customers want by the end; outliers are ready for primetime (e.g., accelerators, funding, etc.)
  3. Springer Engineering Business Certificate: 10-credit Certificate (Venture X is part of it) for a more holistic and -again- experiential understanding of venture including finance, strategy, and leadership.
