Silicon Valley Boiler Innovation Group Invite Entrepreneurs in "Pitch for Mentors", Apply by 12/7
Calling all Purdue Entrepreneurs,
SVBIG (Silicon Valley Boiler Innovation Group) is a network of accomplished Purdue alumni in Silicon Valley. SVBIG offers pro bono mentorship to Purdue-affiliated startups selected through its biannual "Pitch for Mentors" sessions, held each year in late fall and late spring.
We invite interested entrepreneurs (students, faculty, recent alumni, or any combination) to apply for the program via the SVBIG Mentoring Application, available at the "Apply" button in the upper right corner of our website: https://www.svbig.org. The application is a brief, one-page form and must be submitted online. The deadline for this semester is December 7, 2025, although we encourage you to apply as early as possible. After reviewing all applications, SVBIG will invite five to six startups to participate in the upcoming Pitch Competition, scheduled for January 29, 2025.
SVBIG mentorship has a strong track record of advancing successful Purdue startups. Our goal is to create meaningful mentorship connections between emerging Purdue ventures and our experienced Silicon Valley volunteers—who are hand-picked for relevant experience: startup founders, venture capitalists, and intellectual property attorneys, etc. Mentor relationships are based on mutual interest and typically involve a range of 6-12 months of pro bono, unbiased guidance.
