CS Postdoc Opening at Purdue Indianapolis (2026/2027)

Purdue University, Indianapolis is seeking applications for a postdoc in computer science. The postdoc will focus on Al for health and medical sciences applications and will engage in research, mentoring, teaching activities, and scientific coordination of research projects. The postdoc will be mentored by Professor Snehasis Mukhopadhyay (smukhop@purdue.edu).

 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Applicants must hold a PhD in computer science or a closely related discipline, with a focus in Al, prior to their start date.
  • The focus of the postdocs will be Al for health and medical sciences.
  • Interested candidates must exhibit excellence in computer science and Al.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in machine learning, and integration of Al reasoning, search, optimization, and machine learning approaches in medicine or other application domains.

Support and Benefits

The selected postdocs will be appointed as an employee of the Purdue University Computer Science Department. Starting salary will be competitive and will be dependent on the qualifications and experience of the postdocs.
