Class of '27 Defense Civilian Training Corps, Apply by 3/27

The Defense Civilian Training Corps (DCTC)
Program has partnered with Purdue University
and the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center
(AFLCMC) in Tinker Air Force Base, OK, and
Office of the Undersecretary of War (Research &
Engineering) in Crane, IN and Camp Atterbury, IN.
These organizations seeks applicants interested in
a one-year development experience with a pathway
to employment into a career as a Department of War
(DOW) civilian.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
  • be a citizen of the United States at the time of application, 
  • have (and maintain) a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, 
  • be enrolled in a full-time, in-person bachelor's or joint bachelor's/master's degree program at a participating university.
  • have a projected graduation date of May 2027,
  • NOT be committed to another federal scholarship and/or internship-type program (such as ROTC or SMART),
  • be able to qualify for a DoW security clearance, and
  • be available to participate in a two-week intensive course 26 May - 5 June first week is virtual and second week is in-person in Washington, D.C.), an 8-week on-site internship June 8 - July 26, and a two-week intensive course in January 2027.
