Opportunity with INDOT in the Emerging Mobility Division
The Governor’s Summer Internship Program (GSI) is designed to give college students real-world, hands-on experience in their desired field of study to enhance marketability upon graduation. Participation in the program will offer students a multitude of experiences including networking with state employees, resume building and soft skills workshops, agency head panels, and much more.
Role Overview:
This position will serve as an Intern for the Emerging Mobility Division of the Indiana Department of Transportation. INDOT's Emerging Mobility Division is responsible for research, development, implementation, education and regulation of emerging and transformational technologies in the connected, automated and electric vehicle space. The Emerging Mobility Division Intern will be responsible for working on two primary projects: The National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program, Charging the Crossroads and INDOT’s V2X (Vehicle to Everything Deployment Plan. In addition, the intern will assist on a variety of other division projects and support.
