Who Can Apply

Eligible applicants include:

  • • Students in an accredited vocational program, trade school, college, or university
  • • High school seniors who have been accepted into an undergraduate program for the upcoming academic year

Applicants must also meet the following criteria:

  • • Must be 18 years or older
  • • Must be a legal resident of the United States or Canada or hold a valid student visa
  • • Must be enrolled in or accepted to a full-time program at an accredited institution in the United States or Canada

How to Apply

Submit an 800-word essay on one of the following topics:

  3. 3. The DIY Movement: How Hands-On Skills Empower Individuals and Communities - Discuss the benefits of DIY projects, including cost savings, self-sufficiency, and community impact. How can increasing access to education and resources further support the DIY movement?
