Transcripts
For review purposes only, you must upload transcripts and/or academic documents from each institution attended into the online application. The uploaded transcripts and/or academic documents must be the original version and the official English translation of the document.
Transcript Request Form (PDF)
Before admission can be granted, one official transcript must be submitted (upon our request) for every institution of higher education attended:
If the original transcript is not in English, an official English translation, certified by the college or university, must be provided in addition.
An official transcript bears the original signature of the registrar and/or the original seal of the issuing institution.
Transcripts must be final documents unless study is in progress at the time of application. If you cannot provide a transcript showing your most recent grades by the deadline, provide what you can and submit an up-to-date transcript upon completion of your studies.
If you have been awarded a degree, be sure that the award and the date of the award are stated either in the transcript or in a separate document, such as a degree certificate/diploma. If the awarding institution issues only one document and does not state the award and the date of the award on the transcript, send us a certified copy of the document. If the document is not issued in English, it must be accompanied by a translation properly certified by the issuing institution. The Graduate School will make exhibition of the original a condition of your admission.
Transcripts and evidence of award of degrees issued in the Peoples Republic of China must be in Chinese accompanied by an official English translation, and the evidence of award must be in a document different from the transcript.
Paper Transcripts:
Official transcripts (and official English translations) should be mailed directly by a registrar to the program of application, or be given to the applicant by the registrar in a sealed envelope for submission. Once submitted they cannot be returned.
