Faculty and Staff Honored by CoS

The College of Science (CoS) recognized outstanding faculty and staff members from each department during the second annual CoS Faculty and Staff Recognition Luncheon. The luncheon was held on February 6, 2008 in the Faculty Drawing Room in the Purdue Memorial Union. Dean Jeffrey Vitter was proud to "carry on this tradition of honoring and highlighting the extra special efforts and achievements of our colleagues."
Faculty awards given included the Undergraduate Advising Award, Graduate Student Mentoring Award, Engagement Award, Leadership Award, and Interdisciplinary Award. Staff awards included the Leadership Award, Professional Achievement Award, and the Customer Service Award. CS awardees were:
Leadership Award
Kihong Park, Associate Professor
This award recognizes Prof. Park's excellence in faculty leadership which has improved the environment for faculty, staff, and students. Prof. Park was unable to attend the luncheon, and is not pictured.
