Nwokedi Idika, Tion Thomas, Mohamed El Tabakh and Mohamed Fouad

The Committee for the Education of Teaching Assistants (CETA) honored graduate student teachers campus wide on Thursday, April 23. During this celebration, CETA recognized Nwokedi Idika, Tion Thomas, Mohamed El Tabakh, and Mohamed Fouad. Thomas and Idika were Graduate Student Honorees at the event, El Tabakh was recognized as a Graduate Teacher Certificate Recipient, and Fouad received his Advanced Graduate Teacher Certificate.

Idika is a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Bharat Bhargava. His research covers attack graphs, security metrics, and collaborative attacks.

Thomas is a graduating masters student in the area of real-time graphics and gaming. His advisor is currently Prof. Voicu Popescu. He was previously advised by Dr. K.C. Van Zandt, Prof. Buster Dunsmore, and Prof. Xavier Tricoche.

El Tabakh is a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Walid Aref. His research interests include database systems, scientific data management, annotation and provenance management, indexing techniques, large scale databases, query optimization, and data mining.

Fouad is a PhD student, and his work focuses on data privacy, risk management, anonymity, social networks, and data utility. His research advisor is Prof. Elisa Bertino.
