ACM Callout Announced
09-02-2011
Purdue University's chapter of ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) will be holding its own callout this year on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Wetherill 200.
In the past, Purdue's ACM chapter has been a Computer Science-centered organization. This year, the group is looking to branch out to include other majors in technology and engineering. Presenting at the callout will be the six SIGs (Special Interest Groups): SIGAPP (Mobile Applications), SIGBOTS (Robotics), SIGART (Artificial Intelligence), SIGGD (Game Design), SIGOS (Operating Systems), and SIGSAC (Security).
Free pizza should further entice interested students to attend!
ACM has many other events planned for the upcoming academic year, including Tech Talks and coding competitions.
