Bertino Wins IEEE Award for Innovative Research

Elisa Bertino (Samuel D. Conte professor of computer science) received the 2018 Research Innovation Award from the IEEE Technical Committee on Services Computing (TCSVC).

Bertino was cited for her innovative, pioneering and lasting research contributions to services computing for over two decades in the areas of secure services composition, identity verification for web services, information flow and access control. The award was presented at the IEEE Service Congress in San Francisco on July 6.
