Toner Cartridge Policy for CS Printers
- The CS department at Purdue University provides color and/or monochrome printing in selected output areas in the LWSN and HAAS buildings. The department provides all toner cartridges and consumable products for the printers located in those designated output areas.
- There are several printers located in individual offices and research labs that belong to a faculty member or a group of faculty members. The department provides toner cartridges for all of the monochrome printers currently in the department and for any new monochrome printer purchases that are recommended by the "Strategic Sourcing" policy that has been put in place at Purdue University by Purdue University Purchasing.
- The CS department will not provide toner products for color printers purchased for use in offices or research labs. Color toner products must be paid by the faculty member that purchased the printer.
- The department currently provides paper for all of the printers that reside in LWSN or HAAS that are connected to Computer Science networks and purchased using Purdue CS funds.
