Instructional Labs
The department provides several specialized labs with machines running a variety of operating systems (Linux, Solaris, Windows) with configurations from traditional lab carrels to collaborative clusters.
In conjunction with CERIAS, we have a cluster of multi-core servers with Cisco networking hardware (LWSN B132A) available for networking research.
The Xinu lab (HAAS 257) provides the students with access to backend machines where they can run their customized OS images. This lab is used for networking and operating systems courses.
