Study #: IRB-2024-1168
Study title: Extended Reality Hand Redirection Detection Thresholds
Study PI: Voicu Popescu

To whom it may concern,

We are conducting a user study from February to March 2025 to explore the detection thresholds for hand redirection in various extended reality (XR) environments. If you decide to participate, you will be wearing a VR headset and will be asked to perform interaction tasks with virtual objects. After completing the tasks, you will also answer questionnaires about your experience.
Your total involvement will be up to 90 minutes. You will receive a total of $40 in gift cards as compensation for your time.
