ITI ProjectsInterMed
The ITI is developing InterMed, a
system will address a critical set of patient and market needs identified by
consortium members. The goals of the InterMed system best leverage the
collective expertise and resources of consortium members; and it offers the
widest range of economic development opportunities for our commercial members
at this time (Clarian Health
Network, Micro
Data Base Systems, and Med
Institute).
Incubator Development
The ITI is beginning the development
of a world-class telemedicine research and development consortium for
Indiana, which will continuously seek R&D funding and investment for new
marketable ideas; and "incubate" a specific set of technologies
within a system called InterMed. InterMed is a distributed, multimedia
database system and network infrastructure to support health care delivery,
clinical trial management, medical education, and many other possible
applications.
